BREAKING: Orlando Pirates agree second signing for next season!

Orlando Pirates are moving quickly to secure their targets for the next season with a second reportedly agreed.

Pirates are preparing for life without coach Jose Riveiro next season, but the planning continues for the next campaign.

Pirates making signings already

The Spanish tactician will vacate his post after opting not to renew his stay at the club after three-years. While Pirates are yet to announce his successor, they have not been waiting on that announcement to make signings. Last month reported emerged that the Buccaneers had reached an agreement to sign Karabo Kgositsile from Baroka FC.

Now according to iDiski Times Pirates have reached an agreement with Chippa United for the services of midfielder Sinoxolo Kwayiba!

“Orlando Pirates are edging ever closer to the signing of Chippa United and Bafana Bafana midfielder Sinoxolo Kwayiba. iDiski Times has established that Pirates and Chippa have reached a club-to-club agreement for Kwayiba though personal terms are yet to be discussed. Should the personal terms be agreed on, the midfielder will be expected to join the Buccaneers in July 2025 ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. Thabo September, who is the head coach of Chippa, has been resigned to losing the talented attacker after admitting that the player was ready for a big move having done all he has for the club.” Wrote the publication.

Beat Chiefs to the signing of Kwayiba

This may not come as a surprise to many as Pirates have been linked to Kwayiba for the past two windows. It was mentioned that their arch rivals Kaizer Chiefs also harboured interest in signing the player. It was even suggested that they would use Christian Saile as makeweight in January to get him from Chippa. In the end, the Congolese forward moved to SuperSport United
