Hlongwane signs five-year contract at Kaizer Chiefs

19-year-old Kaizer Chiefs academy star Naledi Hlongwane has signed a professional contract at the club.

According to local publication Soccer Laduma, the Amakhosi have agreed a FIVE-YEAR contract with their lethal striker.

“What I can tell you is the five-year deal is the one believed to have been agreed upon by all parties,” – an insider told the publication.

“Yes, the first time it was apparently proposed for a three-year deal. But the club felt they needed to keep the striker for a long time. So that’s why, finally, they came up with a five-year contract. This one is as good as done. I don’t think there will be any changes now.”

The Kaizer Chiefs Diski Challenge star made a name for himself last year after being named Man-of-The-Match in the Carling All Stars clash following a well-taken brace against Magesi FC.
