While many Kaizer Chiefs fans are dreaming of the prospect of their club signing both Sipho Mbule and Thembinkosi Lorch from Mamelodi Sundowns, former assistant coach Farouk Khan has advised against it.
The Glamour Boys are desperately trying to restore the good old glory days back at Naturena and signing quality players remains top of the agenda.
With both Mbule and Lorch set for the exit door at Chloorkop, many fans have been flirting with the idea of them joining Kaizer Chiefs.
According to the legendary Farouk Khan however, despite the duo’s quality, the Motaungs should hold off on this transfer and here’s why!

Speaking as a guest on the trending Soccer Beat Podcast, former Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach Farouk Khan has this to say:
“What’s important right now for Chiefs is to maintain the team spirit, I wouldn’t advise them to sign Mbule and Lorch even if they were free, to be honest.,”
“The two players come with a lot of baggage. They’re good players, but what they do off the field is going to influence what happens on the field.”
