R100 000 reward for information on stolen corpses in Kuruman

Detectives from the Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit are continuing their efforts to solve the shocking theft of three corpses from a funeral parlour in Kuruman. The crime took place on 17 March at around 1:30 and involved the disappearance of two adult male bodies and the remains of a female infant.

Furthermore, the South African Police Service (SAPS) has offered a substantial reward in an effort to speed up the investigation.

“A reward of R100 000 -00(one hundred thousand rand) is offered by SAPS to any individual who can assist with the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator or perpetrators and the recovery of the bodies,” the police confirmed.

Additionally, SAPS has stressed the importance of community assistance in bringing the criminals to justice. Lieutenant Colonel Doggy Magugu, who leads the investigation, appealed to the public for information, promising that “all information will be handled confidentially.”
