Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Bruce Bvuma has reacted to Itumeleng Khune‘s comments about his progress as a footballer.
Khune is on record to say Bvuma would have been on the same level as Ronwen Williams had he listened to his advice.
The legendary goalkeeper worked with both Bvuma and Williams at club and national team levels respectively.
And he is of the view that Bvuma didn’t listen to him whenever he adviced them hence Williams remains ahead of him.
At some point, Bvuma was in the Bafana Bafana setup alongside Williams but of course, the latter was the country’s No.1.
Now, reacting to Khune’s comments, Bvuma admitted that his former teammate did wonders for both Chiefs and Bafana Bafana.
However, he was not prepared to clap back at Khune as he politely said his only focus is on doing the best he can on the pitch.
Bvuma, 29, has featured in 21 matches across all competitions for Amakhosi so far this season.
He has conceded 19 goals (17 in the league and two in the Nedbank Cup), and kept eight cleansheets in the process.

KAIZER CHIEFS KEEPER BVUMA NOT ENTERTAINING KHUNE’S COMMENTS
“Itu is a club legend, what he has done for our team, I don’t think anyone of our generation will do,” Bvuma told reported reporters.
“What he has done for the country is very big. I respect him. I do talk to him, I do talk to Itu and whatever happened, happened, what he said, he said
“My focus is the team, my focus is me doing well for the team and also making sure that I play to my full potential.”
COULD HE HAVE RESPONDED ANY BETTER?
