Bruce Bvuma on Kaizer Chiefs fans

The Kaizer Chiefs’ number one faced further criticism on social media after conceding two goals in the 2-1 loss to Marumo Gallants.

BRUCE BVUMA ON FACING THE FIRE

“Any goalkeeper in the world, trust me, with every goal we concede, we always look back and say ‘I could have done better’,” said Bvuma via FARPost. “For me, I look at the criticism in a positive way, one thing is that before anyone can say anything about me, I criticise myself, and I look at where I should have done better. So I don’t take it personally, as everyone is entitled to their own opinions. Whatever someone says must not impact how I feel or how I do things because, at the end of the day, I work hard and give my best.

“If my best is not enough, it doesn’t mean that I need to stop working. When someone says something, it is their own opinion because, as I said, for every goal I concede, I look at myself before anyone can say anything. But for me, it doesn’t do anything,” the Kaizer Chiefs goalie added.

“The criticism is coming out of love because they love the team, we love the team. They are saying whatever they are saying because of the love they have for the team, so it is okay, it is all love,” Bvuma concluded.
