This is the type of moment you eventually laugh off. This involves Kaizer Chiefs coach Nasreddine Nabi last Saturday.
NASDREDDINE NABI FURY AFTER KAIZER CHIEFS’ LOSS TO ORLANDO PIRATES
Following the weekend’s 2-1 loss to rivals Orlando Pirates in the Soweto derby, coach Nabi was found incensed during the post-match conference. According to Citizen, an unnamed reporter asked Nabi if he was the right man to lead the Kaizer Chiefs.
The Tunisian, fuming, answered the question before storming out of the event. On his way out, Nabi grabbed his cellphone and headed home towards Sandton. The Kaizer Chiefs tactician later realised that he had taken somebody else’s phone rather than his.
“He took the phone all the way to Sandton with him,” a source told the outlet. They had to phone his driver before he realised what had happened.”
In the meantime, Kaizer Chiefs are preparing to face Orlando Pirates in the Soweto derby this Saturday. The event is a Nedbank Cup final at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban at 15:30.
