The 35-year-old from Matatiele has a deal that ends in June 2025. Is this the end of the road? According to his agent, Mike Makaab, Jali is still the professional we all know. “He is training. There are no disciplinary issues,” Makaab told Soccer Laduma. “Again, one can’t complain because the team is doing well. We’ve just got to hope that he gets an opportunity, but these are just things where one has to wait and see how they play out.
The former Orlando Pirates coach further revealed that Jali is already a businessman. “That will be the most important discussion. Is his heart still in the game? Does he still want to play? Does he want to focus on his business activities, which he has already started? We’ve got to look at all of these things and we will take it from there.”
