Cardoso makes plea as Sundowns could lose SEVEN star players

Mamelodi Sundowns management have been handed an important task by head coach Miguel Cardoso.

The Brazilians have a number of key players whose contracts come to an end in June!

No less than seven first team stars will be free to join other teams if Mamelodi Sundowns don’t trigger their contract extension clause!

According to the latest reports, Mamelodi Sundowns are yet to make a move on some of their star players whose contracts end in June.

While the club do have extension clauses, reports suggest the Tshwane side are yet to trigger any extensions.

The players in question are Marcelo Allende, Khuliso Mudau, Aubrey Modiba, Mothobi Mvala, Mosa Lebusa, Rivaldo Coetzee and Jody February.

According to The Citizen, Miguel Cardoso has urged the club to make a move on the above-mentioned players to avoid losing them for free in June!

“He (Miguel Cardoso) has asked the club management to do everything possible to secure these players,” the publication reported.
