This specialised ICU aims to streamline the transplant process, improve organ viability, and reduce waiting times for life-saving procedures. The students behind the project hope it will revolutionise organ donation in the country and offer new hope to those in need.

Carte Blanche is a South African investigative journalism television series that airs on M-Net every Sunday at 19:00.
