CONFIRMED: Chiefs and Pirates both sign Bafana prospects!

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have simultaneously promoted DDC stars.

Striker Naledi Hlongwane, well versed within the first team after months of trainings, is expected to ink a three-year deal with AmaKhosi in the coming weeks.

The 19-year-old starlet has 11 goals, along with 2 assists, to his name this season, and is highly touted to be a future Bafana international.

Pirates land defender

On the other side of Soweto, Orlando Pirates have handed youngster Yanga Madiba a first-team contract.

“They have already made that decision. For now, it’s as good as done, and it’s believed to be a three-year contract which would apparently run from July this year until June 2028,” Soccer Laduma stated.

“He is still young, and they want him to grow and gain experience while learning from the older players.”

Mokwena inbound?

According to reports, Orlando Pirates have named Rulani Mokwena as their priority replacement to Jose Riveiro’s successor.

“Yes, it’s true that Pitso’s name had come up in the management meetings and was the leading candidate to replace Riveiro, but that changed since Wydad announced that they will release Mokwena at the end of the season. He is now the leading candidate,” The Citizen reports.
