Kaizer Chiefs loanee Sabelo Radebe has been axed by Richards Bay FC for consistently failing to play competitive matches.
Radebe joined Richards Bay FC in September as Chiefs wanted him to gain more experience at PSL level.
However, the 25-year-old attacker has not been able to do so since his move from Naturena.
Radebe featured in just three competitive matches for Richards Bay FC – all as a second half substitute.
His game time amounts to a combined 19 minutes across all competition – 12 minutes in the league and seven minutes in the Nedbank Cup.
And the Natal Rich Boyz technical team and management felt Radebe was not worth being at the club.
The latest developments mean Radebe will head back to mother club Chiefs for the remainder of the season.
But whether or not Chiefs will keep him beyond June 2025 remains to be seen given that Nasreddine Nabi wants to bring in new and quality players.

KAIZER CHIEFS LOANEE SABELO RADEBE SHOWN THE EXIT DOOR BY RICHARDS BAY FC
“Richards Bay FC have cut short the loan spell of Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Sabelo Radebe prematurely, FARPost has learnt,” reads part of the report.
“According to FARPost sources, Radebe is no longer part of Richards Bay FC, with the parties having parted company just before his loan contract was due to expire at the end of the season.
“Radebe was part of a group including Lebohang Lesako, Darrel Matsheke, and Keletso Sifama, promoted to the Chiefs senior team in 2021 under the guidance of Gavin Hunt.”
