Kaizer Chiefs table R10 million bid as Pitso Mosimane talks heat up

Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly set aside R10 million for Richards Bay wingback Lwandile Mabuya.

“They have looked at different right backs and it’s believed they apparently want to settle for Lwandile [Mabuya] and that’s why they are believed to be preparing a R10 million offer to table to Richards Bay,” SoccerLaduma confirmed.

“They are valuing the player so they are preparing a substantial offer which they believe can convince Richards Bay as well. This will be a good offer considering how they bought other players before.”

Mosimane to Chiefs?

Former Kaizer Chiefs defender Tsepo Masilela believes the next few weeks are make or break for Nasreddine Nabi. The Soweto giants are idling in eighth, the last qualification spot for the coveted MTN8 Cup. Failure to do so will put his future in serious jeopardy—not that it isn’t already.

Masilela has singled out former Mamelodi Sundowns manager Pitso Mosimane as a suitable successor, saying, “It’s a result driven business , if you’re doing bad, you’re thinking if we finish outside the top eight, with no trophy, what do we do?

“As management you have to make decisions. It is in their minds (whether Nabi should stay),” Masilela continued on SoccerBeat.

“You have coaches like Pitso who are available and you’re thinking, if it happens they get rid of Nabi, maybe we should go all in for coach Pitso because he’s someone who have a proven track record. We know what he has done, he knows the local game and has down wonders.

“There could be clauses that we don’t know, that if you don’t reach top eight… I think they should see out the season, sit down, reflect and make big decisions, because big decisions have to be made.”

What should Kaizer Chiefs do?
