According to the latest transfer gossip, Kaizer Chiefs are eyeing a Chippa United star to bolster their back-line.
30-year-old central defender Thabo Makhele has been linked with a blockbuster move to Naturena.
The solid Lesotho born defender has been a standout performer for his club, making 26 appearances for the Chilli Boys.
“So they have been monitoring Thabo Makhele from Chippa United. He is experienced and very solid,” an insider at Kaizer Chiefs told Soccer Laduma.
“He would really help the team if they are to fight for trophies next season and as they will be playing in Africa. So that’s one of the reasons they have been monitoring and have enquired about him.”
