Failing to score would have eliminated them from the CAF Champions League; the goal meant a lot. The win brought a lot of emotions, and Noxolo penned a heartfelt message in celebration.

Surprisingly, Lunga emerged with a cross from the left side into the box. The cross passed through several players, leading to a late own goal that proved enough for Sundowns.

Mamelodi Sundowns will play the first leg at home and the second leg away in Egypt.
