With the likes of Inacio Miguel and Reeve Frosler out injured, Kaizer Chiefs’ Edmilson Dove and Njabulo Blom have stepped up for duty. “I think I must say congratulations and thank you to the players that played today and [Edmilson] Dove and [Njabulo] Blom,” said Nabi at the post-match conference in Gqeberha.

“We were unlucky to get all our injuries in the same line, our line of defence but like I said the Kaizer Chiefs team we are a group. I think for the next week some players can be back, and each one is ready and ready to play for Kaizer Chiefs.

“We know that we are unlucky with the situation of injuries, but I think we have a good group and like I said congratulations and thank you to the players they deserve to play for Kaizer Chiefs, and I think they made a very nice game today,” the Tunisian coach concluded.
