Orlando Pirates dump Spain, new pre-season destination revealed!

Orlando Pirates won’t be travelling to Spain for their July pre-season camp.

In preparation for a massive 2025/26 season, the club are set to jet out to Europe once again.

The Buccaneers will say goodbye to their Spanish head coach Jose Riveiro at the end of the season.

A new coach however is expected to be unveiled before they leave for their pre-season camp next season!

Orlando Pirates to visit Germany for pre-season camp

After travelling to Spain for the past two years, Orlando Pirates will reportedly set up base in Germany later this year for their annual pre-season camp!

According to Soccer Laduma, the Buccaneers are close to finalising their trip to Germany with ‘all logistical planning as good as done’.

The publication further claimed the new Orlando Pirates head coach will join them on their tour abroad.

The Buccaneers are expected to challenge for the Betway Premiership, CAF Champions League, MTN8, Carling Knockout and Nedbank Cup titles next season.
