Club rumours
- Orlando Pirates are favourites to sign uSuthu star Tshepang Moremi and could lure the dynamic winger for free as his contract expires in June.
- In-form defender Mbekezeli Mbokazi has been selected for Bafana u-20’s upcoming tournament, which will see him miss both Soweto derbies. The Buccaneers are entitled to keep him.
- Monnapule Saleng’s return to training has many believing his return is near. There’s a good chance he plays before the end of the season.
Mabasa and Mbatha wanted
Championship side Sunderland is eyeing Orlando Pirates pair Thalente Mbatha and Tshegofatso Mabasa.
“It’s the same club [Sunderland] interested in another Pirates player, Thalente Mbatha. It’s believed that when the scouts came to look at Mbatha they were also happy with Mabasa, and they had to assess him further in other games and apparently they were happy and they have enquired about him. So, Sunderland are the club interested in Tshegofatso Mabasa,” SoccerLaduma concluded.
