Orlando Pirates are living rent free in Khaled Ben Yahia’s head.
The MC Alger coach is considering alternative tactics to combat the Buccaneers on Wednesday. According to Competition.DZ, Yahia will switch to 4-4-2 instead of last week’s 4-1-4-1.
The Buccaneers have the upper hand heading into the second leg, winning 1-0 under the harsh, laser-distracting Stade du 5 Juillet lights.
Saleng reunion takes a hit?
Monnapule Saleng’s return date remains ominous, albeit being back in training for the first time in nearly four months. Former PSL trickster Zongo believes the saga could prove detrimental to Saleng’s psyche, urging the 27-year-old to seek professional help.
It remains unclear whether the Bloemhof native is suffering a lapse in mental health, but Zongo speaks from experience, saying, “Therapy and people talking to you, I only got that when I got to Platinum Stars, they used to organise people to talk to us, some ex-players.
“I’d advise players from today that if they get a chance to get help, they should listen to those people, because they are talking from experience. Maybe when I was young, I would have been part of those players who don’t want to listen.
“Most players don’t like to share, especially private and confidential things but I’d advise them to go and open up and talk, because once you bottle things inside, trust me those thing are going to kill you slowly but surely.”
