Springbok star set for long-awaited comeback

The Springboks are set to return to action next month, kicking off the 2025 season with a warm-up game of sorts against the Barbarians.

With this in mind, Springbok flyhalf Manie Libbok will certainly be pleased that he is finally set to make a long-awaited return from injury after last playing in January when he picked up a knee injury against Leinster in Dublin.

Considering that Libbok has been out of action for several weeks, it’s likely that he will be reintegrated off the bench for the Stormers, but it will eventually present a selection headache at flyhalf considering that Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu has been exceptional at 10 in his absence.

Whatever the case may be, Libbok will just be thrilled to have an opportunity to remind everyone of his capabilities as the Springbok season draws ever closer.
