IMPACT-BASED WARNINGS
A. Yellow level 1: Disruptive rainfall leading to localised flooding of susceptible formal/informal settlements or roads, low-lying areas and bridges, as well as major roads affected but can be used, increased travel times are expected over the eastern parts of North-West.
B. Yellow Level 2: Disruptive rain resulting localised flooding of settlements, roads and bridges is expected in places between Port Alfred and Port Edward and the adjacent interior.
C. Yellow Level 1: Damaging wind resulting in localised disruption to ports/harbours, and difficulty in navigation at sea is expected in places between Mazeppa Bay and Port Edward.
FIRE DANGER WARNINGS
Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over the Kannaland Municipality in the Western Cape.
ADVISORIES
A. Hot to very hot and uncomfortable conditions are expected over the interior of Namakwa, City of Cape Town, West Coast, and Cape Winelands Districts until Sunday.
B. Heatwave conditions are expected over Saldanha Bay, Swartland and parts of the City of Cape Town municipality until Sunday.
