WWE: HEEL John Cena’s likely final opponents revealed

WWE legend John Cena’s farewell tour is well underway and he is set for some iconic final classic showdowns.

Cena’s heel turn sent shockwaves through the wrestling community. Now, he is the Universal Champion and he has vowed to ensure he leaves the WWE with the coveted prestigious belt.

However, their are some current WWE legends who will try and save the company by stopping Cena in his tracks. This will set up some iconic rematches and could see some dream matches come to life.

CENA’S LIKELY FINAL OPPONENTS REVEALED

RANDY ORTON

Cena vs Orton is one of the most storied, epic and legendary rivalries in WWE history. These two have goen head to head in just about every stipulation ranging from Iron Man matches to Hell in a Cell, I Quit matches, Last Man Standing, Ladder, TLC to epic single bouts all over the world.

However, in all of these matches Cena was the face, the good guy that fans were behind. Now, things are very different with the crowd behind Orton as he strives to add title numner 15 to his legacy.

They are set for an iconic rematch at Backlash. This rivalry is set to uncover some more iconic chapters as both legends turn back the time and go face-to-face. You can bet there will be more to follow.

CM PUNK

Cm Punk and Cena have had some of the best WWE title matches in history. There is no doubt that Punk will want a piece of Cena before he retires. Moreover, Cena took advantage of Seth Rollins intervention at Hell in a Cell to earn his title opportunity at Wrestlemania. Following Mania, Punk called out Cena and told the world “He always knew” this Cena.

So, there is no doubt this epic rematch will take place during Cena’s farewell tour.

THE ROCK

Yes, they are aligned right now. In theory.

However, we don’t know what the Rock has in store for the WWE. Especially, after not showing at Wrestlemania 41 and inspiring the most shocking turn in WWE history. Cena and the Rock clashed at Wrestlemania 28 and 29 and they left fans in awe after two classics. Cene lost to the Rock at Wrestlemania 28. However, he redeemed himself when he won the WWE title at WrestleMania 29.

The final boss may have a final match in store for Cena. He is 20 steps ahead and this would certainly be a masterclass from the Rock.
